What are your ways to promote your forum

What steps do you take to advertise or promote your forum?
I invite friends, then post on every advertising forum min. 10 posts each and request the highest package I can from each one.

Put up posters in Collages, library`s and drop in centers
can also help get members

Well, for me, I register in many advertising forums, then I posts alot! so i can acquire those services that can help my forum's exposure, and i also join contests for my forum Very Happy

Try getting people to advertise your forum as much as possible. Also, post a thread on every promotion forum you come across.

mostly. I also post on other metal forums, I put my banner in the signature and advertise the link where I can.

I am also thinking of having some flyers made to hand out at gigs, festivals and club nights
